I love the Month of Ramadan. I love the family gatherings, the delicious and sometimes lavish Iftars at my favorite spots in Dubai (The meal with which you break the daily fasting) and the festive decor & celebrations that make Dubai even more beautiful.
I made a list of places I enjoy going to for Iftar. I hope that you will too
Asateer Tent in Atlantis the Palm
This tent is so pretty, will all the hanging lights for the ceiling and the beautiful layout. I have been going to this tent every year and enjoyed it every time. The price is 210AED per person with a buffet of Arabic & international cuisine. Being in Atlantis is special on its own, and getting to walk after the meal in a very beautiful setting is a great plus.
Zaytouni Restaurant in Dubai Mall
I always find myself in the Dubai mall in Ramadan; I blame the shorter work days. The Zaytouni Iftar is very convenient, and has all the Arabic dishes I long for during Ramadan. There is a set price buffet for under a 100 AED , or you can choose A la carte. The menu is fusion between Arabic and Armenian.
Al Serkal Avenue
This artsy part of town holds its own festivities during the month: art Exhibitions, night markets, and unique dining experiences. This year Inked is hosting a berber themed Iftar for 300 AED per person. Chika is also hosting an Iftar that is a fusion between Arabic & Japanese cuisine. Every year I try to check as many exhibitions as I can and if I get to get an unorthodox meal with my art dose, it’s even better.
New Iftars in town in The Dubai Creek Harbor
Two tents will be built this year on the Harbor, and I cannot wait to check them out. The view is magnificent: all the Dubai skyline unobstructed. I took these images today, to have a taste at what to expect during Iftar. I bet this view is more impressive at night.
The Ramadan Tent by Emaar looks like a good place to be during Ramadan. I loved the Downtown tent by Emaar and since that one is being replaced by this tent, I will definitely go check it out. The view from the tent is beautiful as you can see the entire Dubai Skyline. The tent is located directly the Dubai creek Harbour, and would be a shame to miss.
The Rise tent is also built on the Harbour and looks fabulous with its waterfront view. This experience only costs 140AED. And I cannot wait!
Let me know below about your Favorite Iftars in town. I would love to know!
