Polka Dots & Warm Scones

Butter. My forever love. I am lucky to have a fast metabolism because I cannot see my life without butter. Give me some warm bread and tea and I am the happiest.

Over the weekend, I was aching to go out but wanted to go somewhere casual. Alladin and I ended up going to the Lime Tree Cafe on Jumeirah. I always like the place because it is so cosy and comfy. there is a playground for kids, warm baked delicacies and loads of magazines to read. I ordered warm scones and Chai tea while Alladin took the usual coffee. of course I slathered my basil & dried tomato scones with butter. yum!

I think I might be coming back often.

Sunset walk by Burj Al Arab

I love sunsets. Not much of a secret. The mute colors and the soft light are my obsession. Hubby and I went for a walk by Jumeirah beach, hunting for BuQtair . It’s a casual fish restaurant. They serve curried deep-fried fish and shrimp from the catch of the day at very affordable prices . It’s one of the best kept secrets of Dubai. I love it. A blend betweed Dubai’s fishing culture and India’s fish spices.

After the food, we walked by the Burj. I took a few pictures and my full belly was not bothered by that loose dress I had the good idea of wearing. If you like the pictures below. Leave me a comment!
